Kentucky RV Rentals

Kentucky RV Rentals welcomes you to the Bluegrass capitol of the world. Kentucky, located in the heart of the U.S., has a lot to offer everyone who visits. It is the home of bluegrass music, and those who would like to know more about its history would enjoy a visit the International Bluegrass Music Museum in a beautiful Class “A” RV rented through GetRV.com. In this state-of-the-art facility, the museum takes on an interactive approach that is dedicated to preserving and encouraging the growth of bluegrass music. You’ll take a guided tour with instrument demonstrations and hear examples of music that take you through the evolution of bluegrass from its roots to the newest acts. You may even try creating your own bluegrass mix. If you’re looking for a pulse then check out Fourth Street Live in the heart of historic, downtown Louisville. A Class “C” RV would be perfect for touring through the streets of the entertainment and retail district located between Liberty and Muhammad Ali Boulevard. In Fayette, kids too can get their hands on some fun and learning at the Exploratorium of Lexington. Featuring nine zones of interactive exhibits designed to inspire imagination and curiosity, children will surely have an educational experience that will last a lifetime. While exploring Kentucky’s outdoors you’ll find many natural treasures. If an RV Park is needed while in Kentucky, our RV Parks Tab is a great way to start your search. In the south central region, visit Mammoth Cave National Park. Here you’ll enjoy the scenic river valleys of the Green and Nolin rivers. Enter Mammoth Cave, the longest recorded cave system in the world, with more than 360 miles that have been explored and mapped. You won’t want to miss Diamond Caverns, which is considered Kentucky’s “most beautiful” cave. Located along the Mammoth Cave Parkway, take the time to walk through its halls lined with cascading, colorful calcite deposits forming thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in an intricate pattern throughout the cave. Displayed with state-of-the-art lighting, guided tours will take you along a ½ mile of safe, well-kept trails and present you with fascinating historic and geologic information about these amazing deposits. Move on to Cumberland Falls State Resort Park located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Experience here the cooling mist coming from the waterfall that forms a 125-foot-wide curtain of running water that cascades down 60 feet to the boulder-laden gorge below. On a full-moon and clear night you’ll be able to see the beautiful “moonbow” it forms that cannot be seen anywhere else. You can also visit Cumberland Gap where you can have it all: rich history, spectacular scenery, geologic wonders, magnificent caverns, and diverse animal life. Crittenden County consists of a thriving Amish community of over 600 residents. To experience life in this community is like taking a step back in time. See what it’s like to live with no telephones or electricity and to move about by means of horses and buggies. You will also see Amish examples of the meticulous care of their land, craftsmanship in cabinet and furniture making, and artistry in handmade quilts and other crafts. Feel free to visit their homes and shops that sell many of their crafty wares. If horses are your game, then check out Churchill Downs, the world’s most legendary racetrack that has hosted the top Thoroughbreds for some of the largest competitions. There is plenty of parking for your RV. Twice in spring and fall you can attend the Race Meets of the Kentucky Derby, where you’ll experience the “greatest two minutes in sports”. Then take a guided tour through Claiborne Farm, which has been a leading Thoroughbred farm for generations. Shelby County, known as “The Saddlebred Capital of the World”, is home to the country’s most outstanding Saddlebred breeding and training facilities. You may also contact the Shelby County Tourism Commission to arrange a horse farm tour. If you decide to visit Kentucky, browse through the RV Rental options from GetRV.com as there are more selections here than any other single source.
